Palace Chase: Moroccan Right-Back in Winter Transfer Push
Crystal Palace are in talks to sign Zakaria Al-Waidi from Genk to bolster the right-back position amid injuries. The deal has not progressed, but Palace remain keen as the winter window opens. Al-Waidi, 24, has 20 appearances this season with Genk, scoring four goals and posting two assists. He recently earned his first Morocco cap, though he wasn’t named in AFCON squad, and his Genk contract runs to 2028.
