Barça Closes In on Real Sociedad Sensation as Release Clause Shrinks

Barcelona is edging toward a summer signing from Real Sociedad, eyeing him as a key mercato target. The move hinges on arbitration by fair-play rules and a potential drop in the release clause. The player’s contract runs through 2027, with a clause that could shrink to around 15 million euros next year. Barcelona weighs exploiting the opportunity now or waiting until 2027 to sign him for free. The maneuver could reshape Barça’s goalkeeping plans without breaking the bank.
