Hussein Amouta Emerges as Top Candidate to Replace Benhahem at Wydad
Wydad Casablanca is weighing a coaching change as Mohamed Amin Benhahem comes under pressure. Radio Mars reports the club is reviewing several coaches’ CVs to replace him. Hussein Amouta, a former Wydad coach, is the leading candidate. Amouta previously guided Wydad to the CAF Champions League and had a notable spell with Jordan; negotiations with Kuwait’s national team reportedly stalled due to financial issues. Wydad currently sits second in the Moroccan Pro League, one point behind Raja Casablanca.
