PSG’s Pay Tug-of-War with Mbappé: A $60.9M Scandal in the Making
Paris Saint-Germain has reportedly started yielding to the financial demands of Kylian Mbappé, following court rulings in a late payments case. PSG paid 4 million of the 6 million euros ordered by the labor court, while Mbappé’s team seeks full enforcement of a 60.9 million euro claim. Negotiations stall over a clause forcing the club to publish the ruling on its site for a month. Mbappé rejects mediation and demands all due rights including salaries and bonuses for 2023/24, in a dispute stretching over more than a year and a half.
