Aboutrika: I Wished Hugo Broos Would Exit After Morocco Jabs
Aboutrika critiques Broos after SA's exit.

Aboutrika on Broos and AFCON

Mohamed Aboutrika, the Egyptian football icon, said he wished Hugo Broos, the South Africa coach, would be eliminated from the Africa Cup of Nations.

South Africa were knocked out in the Round of 16 after a 2-1 defeat to Cameroon on Sunday evening.

Aboutrika, a BeIN Sports analyst, said, "I wished for Broos to go because he is arrogant and has made insulting comments about Morocco's training grounds."

He added, "Everyone praised Morocco's organization of the tournament, except Broos, who only looks out for himself and has faced accusations of racism."

Aboutrika continued, "The African continent has a rich civilization and heritage, and Broos won't teach us football."

Personally, I prefer having a national-team coach in charge.

A video of his remarks is embedded below.

Punchline 1: His ego is so big it needs its own passport.

Punchline 2: If arrogance paid a transfer fee, Hugo Broos would be a billionaire with no trophies.
