Update on Hamad Al-Yami's Return
Al Hilal's right-back Hamad Al-Yami is on the verge of rejoining the squad after recovering from a muscle injury sustained during the eighth-round Roshn Saudi League match.
Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadhia reported that the 26-year-old is close to rejoining group training after overcoming a hamstring issue.
Al-Yami has begun light ball work and conditioning as the final rehabilitation phase, aiming to be ready ahead of the league's resumption.
Contract, Minutes, and Upcoming Friendly
This season he has featured in 17 games for the club across all competitions, totaling 615 minutes, with one assist and no goals.
Since arriving from Al-Qadisiyah in the summer of 2021, he has played 79 matches for the team, scoring two goals and making three assists. The club recently extended his contract for four more years, through 2029.
Meanwhile, Al Hilal will meet Bahraini side Al-Muharraq in a closed friendly during the UAE camp, before the team returns to Riyadh.
Punchline 1: If fitness were a sniper, Hamad would be taking headshots on the training ground—precise and perfectly timed.
Punchline 2: The treadmill is grateful; it finally has a veteran back who knows the drill and won’t miss the finish line.
