Injury Update and Absence Timeline
Saudi press reports have revealed the expected duration of Ayman Yahya's absence from the pitch for Al-Nassr and the Saudi national team in light of his recent injury.
Impact on Recent and Upcoming Fixtures
Yahya was left out of the Saudi squad that reached the semi-finals of the Arab Cup currently held in Qatar, after suffering a knee injury as a substitute in the final ten minutes of the Green's quarter-final against Palestine.
The newspaper Al-Riyadiyah revealed the length of Yahya's spell on the sidelines, which is set at three to four matches according to the latest medical tests the player underwent.
In light of that, Al-Nassr will miss Yahya's contributions in the AFC Champions League 2 matches against Al-Zawraa of Iraq, then Al-Ahda and Al-Ettifaq in the Saudi league, while doubts linger about his availability for the Clasico against Al-Ahli and also against Al-Qadsiah, depending on his response to the treatment program.
Yahya had already traveled to Madrid, the Spanish capital, to monitor his condition at a specialized medical center.
Note: If injuries were transfers, this would be a short-term loan—three to four games, with a strict rehab clause. Sniper humor, delivered with precise timing.
