The Moroccan squad received welcome news as Achraf Hakimi and Sofyan Amrabat have fully recovered from their injuries, putting them back in contention for a key run of matches.
The two players arrived at the Mohammed VI complex early to begin an intensive rehabilitation program supervised by the national team doctor.
They are now available for coach Walid Regragui to train with the rest of the squad starting next Monday, with no complications or side effects reported.
AFCON Preparations
Regragui has expressed great relief at their recoveries and is expected to include them in the starting lineup for the tournament’s opening fixtures.
The Africa Cup of Nations will be hosted in Morocco from December 21 to January 18, with Morocco placed in Group A alongside Comoros, Zambia and Mali.
