Dembélé Poised for Another Global Award After a Golden Year

Ousmane Dembélé, PSG's star and France forward, is poised to win another global prize.

Dembélé has claimed France Football's Ballon d'Or for the world's best player at a ceremony in Paris on a famous stage in the City of Light.

Earlier he also took home the World Player award from Onze, the French magazine Onze Mondial.

On December 17 he won The Best FIFA Men's Player at the FIFA World Awards in Doha, Qatar.

French daily Le Parisien reported that Dembélé is set to win the World Player prize again at the Globe Soccer ceremony in Dubai this coming Sunday.

This year he shone for PSG, helping the club complete a domestic treble and lift the Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup for the first time in its history. And if a trophy case had a spare shelf, Dembélé would fill it.
