Demiral Dazzles in Saudi Clash
Turkish defender Merih Demiral of Al-Ahli seized the spotlight in Friday’s showdown with Al-Nassr, the 13th round of the Saudi Pro League.
In the 55th minute of the second half, Demiral headed home the third for his side, capitalizing on a lapse in Al-Nassr’s defense.
That header took his tally to four goals in 84 appearances for Al-Ahli across domestic and continental competitions since joining in the summer of 2023.
He now stands as the club with which Demiral has scored most in his career, surpassing Atalanta, Sassuolo, Juventus, and Alanyaspor.
