Europe Calls, But Will Brozovic Stay with Al-Nassr?
Worldly press sources have reported that Saudi club Al-Nassr have made an offer to Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic to renew his contract.
The Italian transfer journalist Nicolò Sira said Al-Nassr had offered Brozovic an extension, but the player has not yet accepted the new terms.
He also posted on X that Brozovic is weighing a return to Europe in the near future, after stints with several clubs, most notably Inter Milan.
Moreover, he noted that Brozovic would have to lower the big salary he earns at Al-Nassr to go back to the Old Continent if he decides to depart at season's end.
Brozovic has played 15 matches this season for Al-Nassr, with one goal and two assists now.
Overall the Croatian star — who retired from international duty last year — has featured in 99 games for Al-Nassr, scoring 8 goals and providing 20 assists thus far.
Punchline 1: Europe, hope you’ve got a bigger bench for him.
Punchline 2: Brozovic might take Europe by storm — or at least by the snack bar.
