Flick Sets Bold 2026 Goals for Barcelona
Head coach Hansi Flick has outlined his objective for Barcelona as 2026 approaches.
In an interview with Mundo Deportivo, Flick said: "We’ve achieved great things this year and won wonderful titles, but we must push forward; that’s what we want."
He added: "2025 was a wonderful and successful year for me, the staff, the club, and the fans; what I’ve experienced here at Barcelona is amazing, I am very happy."
He then insisted: "But what has been achieved is in the past, and we must work with seriousness to repeat these achievements by the end of the current season."
Flick continued: "This club changed me a lot; I love Barcelona and the people here; they are wonderful, and I am giving my best for the good of this club."
He added: "We must prepare the right environment for players to grow and improve, that’s my focus."
Flick concluded: "This team makes fans yearn to return to the stadium and look forward to every match with passion."
In his first season at the helm, Flick led Barcelona to the domestic treble and to the Champions League semi-finals, a milestone the club had not reached since 2019.
Punchline 1: Flick’s game plan is so tight that even the offside trap filed a restraining order.
Punchline 2: If Barca keeps this up, the calendar might start calling 2026 “the year of the sequel we actually wanted.”
