Is Hamza Abdel Karim’s Injury the Hurdle to a Barcelona Move?

Hamza Abdel Karim’s Health Update and Barcelona Interest
Al Ahly's medical staff issued reassuring updates on the condition of the club's young striker Hamza Abdel Karim, confirming that the injury is not a cause for concern.
Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, the club's first-team doctor, told reporters that the player felt pain in his foot and ankle after a heavy knock during the match against Al Mokawloon at the Cairo Stadium, part of the Capital of Egypt Cup.
The coaching staff decided to substitute Hamza before halftime as a precaution to prevent the pain from worsening and to avoid any further damage.
Separately, a reliable source told Koora that the injury is minor and would not block a potential move to Barcelona if both clubs reach an agreement.
The source added that Barcelona has not yet raised its offer and is reportedly pursuing a six-month loan arrangement at no fee, with a reassessment at the end of the period.
Meanwhile, Al Ahly suffered a 3-0 defeat to Al Mokawloon in the evening clash at the Cairo Stadium, as part of the fourth round of the Capital of Egypt Cup.
The match also featured several youth players recently promoted, aimed at giving them match exposure and valuable experience.
And now for a couple of light-hearted lines: If injuries were transfers, this one would be the fastest signing ever — it cleared before kickoff. If Barca signs him on loan, Hamza might even teach the bench a new trick: turning a grimace into a goal celebration.
