Lamine Yamal, Barcelona's rising star, says he is focused on returning to his best after the 3-3 draw with Club Brugge in the UEFA Champions League.
Yamal scored and assisted another, and spoke after the match about being in a good, calm state and denying recent injury rumors that circulated in the press.

When asked about a possible Messi comparison, Yamal replied that Messi scored thousands of goals like this and that they cannot be compared; he is just trying to improve.
On the Belgian crowd's whistles, Yamal said that if another player had been in his place, they would not have heard those whistles; this shows he is doing a good job on the pitch.
Frenkie de Jong, one of Barca's leaders, said it was hard to win after conceding three goals and that there are weaknesses in pressing and defensive positioning that must be addressed.
“We conceded three goals, it's hard to win like this,” he added. “The team must evolve and show a stronger version next time.”
He also praised Yamal: “He is a special player; he makes a difference at any moment. If he keeps working with the same dedication, there is no reason to worry about his form.”
Numbers show Barca's run of negative results continuing: nine straight matches with goals conceded across all competitions, totaling 15, the worst streak without a clean sheet since March 2013.
The stats also noted Barca conceded twice inside the first 16 minutes and 35 seconds, the fastest two-goal deficit in their Champions League history.
Brugge led 2-1 at halftime at the Jan Breydel Stadium, with Nicolò Treizoldi scoring in the 6th minute and Carlos Forbes doubling the lead in the 17th, while Ferran Torres pulled Barca's only goal in the 8th.
Carlos Forbes became the youngest player to both score and assist against Barcelona in the Champions League at 21 years and 231 days, surpassing Beckham’s 1998 record.

The home side were close to victory, but a cross turned into their own net by Tzolis spared Barca from a second loss in the competition this season. With the result, Barcelona sit on seven points in 11th place, while Brugge move to four points in 22nd place.
