Transfer Details

Al-Faisaly Jordan has announced its third winter signing to bolster its squad.

The club has signed Aoun Al-Maharmeh, the midfield star from Al-Ahli Jordan, on a two-and-a-half-year deal.

Al-Maharmeh signed the transfer papers on Tuesday to strengthen the team's center of midfield.

The 23-year-old began his career with Faisaly's youth setup before stints with Sahab, Al-Jazira, and Ma'an.

He later featured for Shabab Al-Ordon, then moved to Oman’s Al-Nasr before returning to Jordan with Al-Ahli in February 2025.

Al-Maharmeh posted on Instagram: 'I’m back at my great home, Al-Faisaly, a pledge to be a pillar for this club and its fans'.

He added that his childhood devotion to Faisaly fuels his drive to deliver his best with God's help.

Faisaly also tied down goalkeeper Wissam Al-Khatib from Sama Al-Sarhan and welcomed back Salim Al-Ajalen after an early-season departure.

The club also agreed to release Yahya Al-Bakhit.

Punchline 1: If this midfield keeps improving, even the highlights will file for overtime. Punchline 2: With this signing, the bench just got a little funkier.
