Morocco reports 152 violations across AFCON venues.

Overview

The Moroccan Public Prosecution issued a statement confirming 152 violations were recorded at Africa Cup of Nations venues in 2025.

The statement, published on the Public Prosecution website, noted that the number of offenders reached 128 individuals from different nationalities.

Offenses included entering or attempting to enter stadiums by deception, selling match tickets at higher or lower prices than face value, lighting fireworks, and throwing incendiary materials during games.

Meanwhile, SNRTNEWS reported that courts handled 60 cases related to violations registered inside Africa Cup venues.

Abdellatif Ouahbi, Morocco's justice minister, said violations were addressed inside stadiums without transferring individuals to police stations.

Fireworks were banned, but the fines were blazing—talk about a lit situation.

If penalties were issued for jokes, this article would be in overtime.
