Neves Eyes Europe as Al Hilal Keeps the Door Open
Al Hilal have conceded to Robin Neves's wish to depart the club in the near future.
Saudi daily Al Yaum reports that the side is now open to listening to offers for its player during the winter window, as Neves seeks a new challenge and a return to European football.
Price Tag and Contract Situation
The report says the club will consider bids above £15 million after failing to renew his contract, which runs out at the end of the current season.
Neves joined the blue wave in 2023 from Wolverhampton and helped the team win four trophies, plus reach the quarterfinals of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, where he was one of the tournament's stars.
His contract expires at season's end, which could allow a winter move or a free transfer when the next window opens.
On the bright side, the only thing louder than his runs might be the rumor mill—it's louder than the stadium speakers.
And if Europe comes calling, he might finally teach us which side of the pitch is attacking—the one with the goals.
