The Portuguese Ronaldo, captain of Al Nassr, wasted a strange chance during the Clasico against long-time rivals Al Ahli in the Saudi Pro League.
Al Ahli hosted Al Nassr tonight at Al-Inma Stadium in Jeddah, in the 13th round of the Saudi competition.
In the 62nd minute, the Portuguese João Félix delivered a perfectly timed through ball to Ronaldo, placing him clean through on goal against goalkeeper Abdulrahman Al-Sanabi.
Unusually, the ball escaped Ronaldo’s control, rolling between his feet and into the keeper’s hands.
That miss denied Al Nassr an equalizer as the scoreline showed Al Ahli leading 3-2 at the moment of the error.
