Injury Shock in Moroccan Pro League
Mohsen Metwally, former Raja Casablanca star, recently joined Nahda Zemamra, endured a shocking night yesterday there.
Metwally appeared as a substitute for Nahda Zemamra in the clash against Raja, which ended 3-0 to the visitors in the Moroccan top flight tonight.
Raja's goals were from Adam Nafati at 25 and 86, and Ismail Khafi at 71.
Metwally entered as a 60th-minute sub, but left the field after eight minutes with a shoulder injury, quickly transported to hospital for further tests.
According to Mohammed Al-Arsi, a doctor specializing in orthopedics, scans revealed that Metwally suffered a fracture to the collarbone and will require surgery.
Recovery is expected to last two to three months, with surgery ahead for a full return.
