The English striker Ivan Toni sparked a night for Al Ahli Jeddah, sealing a 2-1 win over Al Taawoun in the Saudi Pro League.
He scored the decisive goal in the 14th minute of stoppage time from a stunning penalty, lifting Al Ahli to 31 points in fourth place, level with Al Taawoun in third and Al Nassr in second, separated only by goal difference.

According to the club's official X account, Toni moved into fourth on Al Ahli's all-time goals list in the pro era (2008-2009) with 33 goals.
Toni surpassed Imad Al-Hosani, who had 32 goals, and sits behind Taiseer Al-Jassem (37), Victor Simoes (52) and Omar Suma (144).
This is also his 50th career penalty and the 20th with Al Ahli, and he has never missed in that role with the Reds.
The English forward has 18 goals plus 6 assists in 24 appearances this season across domestic and continental competitions, with 10 of those goals coming in the Pro League.
