Two Words, One Quiet Reply: Haaland Claps Back at Guardiola’s Weighty Threat

Two Words That Silence a Threat
Erling Haaland, Manchester City's Norwegian forward, responded to Pep Guardiola's explicit warning. Haaland posted a photo on his official X account, captioned with two English words to confirm that all is well.
Rather than a confrontation, the Norwegian star appeared on a scale to prove his weight wasn't an issue.
Guardiola had warned he would drop any overweight player from the upcoming clash with Nottingham Forest on Saturday in the Premier League. He said, "Players have the right to eat and enjoy the holidays, but those who gain weight won't be in the matchday squad."
Haaland remains City's top weapon, having 25 goals in 23 appearances this season (19 in 17 league games and 6 in six Champions League outings).
Ahead of the Nottingham Forest tie in the 18th round, City sit second with 37 points, while Arsenal lead on 39.
Punchline: When it comes to weight and goals, Haaland's balance scale verdict is sharper than Guardiola's whistle. And if the scale tips, City can always add more goals to the balance sheet.
