When a Legend Calls Out a Coach: Khamis Slams Jesus After Nassr- Ettifaq Draw

Match fallout and coach decisions
Yousif Khamis, a Nassr legend, unleashed a sharp critique of Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus after the 2-2 draw with Al Ettifaq on Tuesday, in the 12th round of the Roshen Saudi Pro League.
The draw snapped Nassr's streak of 11 consecutive league wins this season, leaving them on 31 points at the top of the table.
Khamis said on the program "Al-Mutasa": "I don't know why Wesley keeps starting for Nassr, despite the poor displays he offers."
He added: "I see no explanation for his inclusion, and I don't know what exists between him and Jesus, given the insistence on playing him despite his low level."
He continued: "Beyond his technical level, the player showed his displeasure at being substituted in the previous match, and yet Jesus decided to play him against Al Ettifaq, and I don't know the reason."
“He does something opposite to everyone; have we reached this level of stupidity? I don't know the reason for the coach's formation choices—the substitutions were also poor.”
He concluded: "Al Ettifaq was playing long balls to break the offside trap, and Jesus watched the matter without any intervention."
Punchline 1: If Jesus’ tactical notes were a sniper’s scope, they’d still be on safety and miss the target.
Punchline 2: In this league, timing and precision matter—apparently the plan is to keep the spectators guessing and the coach guessing louder.
