When Taunts Strike: How a Madrid Star Found Calm in a La Liga Storm

Taunting Episode in La Liga Clash
Asensio, Real Madrid's standout, faced a wave of insults during his team's La Liga clash with Deportivo Alavés in round 16.
According to AS, Victoria's stands directed taunts at a Real Madrid defender during a corner, shouting: "Asensio... you're trash... get out of Victoria".
For a moment, the defender looked up at the stands and mocked the chants back.
French midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni noticed the scene and stepped in to calm his teammate so the insults would not derail him.
Día Después published a post urging that abuse have no place in stadiums, and the Madrid player replied, "I agree", accompanied by a closed-mouth emoji.
This was not the first time Asensio faced abuse; several fans targeted him over a case involving a clip with sexual content.
It is noted that the victims in that case forgave Asensio, yet the Madrid star could no longer bear the continuous insults.
Punchline 1: If fans spent half as much energy applauding as they do booing, we'd finally win a trophy—probably a participation cup. Punchline 2: Maybe the corner flag should get a mic next time.
