The local organizing committee for the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 in Agadir, Morocco, issued a formal statement on Saturday evening.
The release followed the large crowd and the support Egypt received during its matches in Agadir as part of Group B of the Africa Cup.
The statement said that Agadir is living an exceptional moment, hosting major continental football events that place it at the heart of followers in Africa and beyond.
It added that the organizing body is proud of the fans, known for their great love of football and their passion in the terraces, and that the official arrangements at the Agadir Stadium adhere to strict technical and security standards set by CAF, forming a key part of what makes such tournaments successful.
