Al Ahly’s Stance on Yazan Al-Naimat Transfer Rumors
Al Ahly’s football department has publicly stated that Yazan Al-Naimat, the Jordanian international striker who plays for Al-Arabi in Qatar, remains a high-profile name, but there have been no negotiations with him to date.
A club source told KOOORA that rumors about attempting to break the player’s release clause are unfounded, noting that Al Ahly does not pursue exploiting release clauses and instead handles deals directly.
The source added that Al Ahly’s strong ties with Qatari clubs suggest the team would never exploit a clause in a contract involving their players.
He also noted that Yazan Al-Naimat is indeed on the discussion list to reinforce the attack, but there have been no negotiations with him or his agent yet.
According to KOOORA, Danish coach Jes Torup is the final decision-maker for new signings. He reportedly has a shortlist and will inform the club of his final choices for players to bolster the squad in the winter transfer window.
Al Ahly prepare to face Enppi on Thursday in the opening round of the Egyptian Professional Clubs Cup.
Punchline 1: If transfer rumors were a weapon, Al Ahly would own the silencer.
Punchline 2: In the winter market, Torup plays chess while opponents play checkers.
