Al Hilal's Gulf Raid: Housawi and Dosri Headline Winter Signings
Al Hilal vs Al Khaleej in the Saudi Pro League

Housawi Arrival

Al Hilal moves closer to a winter signing from the Gulf region, arranging a permanent deal for midfielder Morad Housawi from Al Khaleej on a three-year contract worth 5 million SAR per season.

Saudi press reports also indicate an agreement to sign young goalkeeper Rayan Al-Dosri this window, with the necessary formalities completed to seal the move.

Dosri Arrival and Squad Balancing

The Dosri addition is intended to fill the gap left by French keeper Matteo Batoulié, who has fallen out of coach Simone Inzaghi's plans, while Yasin Bono's AFCON 2025 participation keeps him away from duties.

Earlier, Al Hilal had pursued Ahmed Al-Kassar from Qadisiyah, but the transfer did not materialize, prompting the club to sign Dosri from Al Khaleej.

Punchline 1: January transfers are like a magician's act—now you see the midfielder, now you see him in a different shirt.

Punchline 2: If contracts came with a warranty, this window would still require an extension—the ball stays in play, and so does the negotiation.
