Al-Nassr President Drops Fiery Warning to Critics
19 January 2026
Statement and Resolve
Abdullah Al-Majed, chairman of Al-Nassr, issued an official statement vowing to defend the club's interests and protect its members, and demanding accountability from critics who cross lines.
Then Al-Majed posted on X: 'To all concerned: I am responsible for the club's interests before God, and for safeguarding its members' rights; I will not hesitate to defend them, whatever the cost'.
And he added: 'All transgressions and insults by the legal administration have been monitored, and the necessary measures have been taken to safeguard the club's rights on and off the pitch'.
Following that, Al-Nassr's management issued a statement criticizing media remarks they saw as harming the Saudi sports project and the club.
And the management added commitment to operate within league rules, warning against heightened rhetoric and what it called targeted campaigns seeking to sway public opinion.
Upcoming Match
The capital club braces for a Damac clash on Wednesday in the Saudi Pro League, as it seeks rebound.
And Jorge Jesus' men sit second with 34 points in the table.
Punchline 1: If defending a club's honor were a sport, Al-Majed would be MVP.
Punchline 2: The stadium might need a bigger roof just for all the hot takes this press conference cooked up.
