Andrick Responds to Benzema Comparison

The Brazilian forward Andrick Felipe, on loan from Real Madrid to Lyon, addressed the comparison with Karim Benzema, the French star who recently moved to Al Hilal. Since arriving in Lyon a few weeks ago, Andrick has shone whenever he has played, and the Benzema chatter has followed.

Asked about the goal, the young forward said: "I am very happy to score. It is a very important goal for Lyon, because the game was tough and I was able to help the team through it."

He also said: "When I scored, I released all the anger inside me because we did not play well, but the most important thing is the victory."

Andrick's strike helped Lyon reach the quarterfinals as they beat Laval 2-0. The match also featured other chances and a display of growing confidence from the Ligue 1 side.
