Barcelona received a piece of good news after their 1-2 defeat to Girona on Monday night at Montilivi, in La Liga gameweek 24.
Barça is currently facing several injuries, including Andreas Christensen, Marcus Rashford, Pedri, and Gavi, while Brazilian winger Rafinha has just returned from injury and has yet to reach full match fitness.
Eric Garcia picked up a knock in the second half of the derby and left the pitch in frustration, with Ronald Araujo coming on in his place.
Journalist Javi Miguel of AS wrote on X that Garcia's injury appears minor: some tightness at the back of the left thigh, but initial impressions are reassuring and not considered serious.
Barça dropped from the La Liga summit after the defeat to Girona, with 58 points, two behind Real Madrid who lead on 60.
