Special Coverage and Qatar Football Year
The Arab Cup, staged every four years since its 1963 inception, returns for its 11th edition in 2025, marking a third Qatar hosting and the second in a row after 2021. FIFA Qatar 2025 is positioned as one of the major international football events hosted by Qatar within a short span, following the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 which concludes on November 27, 2025.
BeIN's coverage begins under the leadership of leading regional journalists, presenters, commentators and analysts, delivering comprehensive content that combines specialist analysis, exclusive footage and up-to-the-minute updates.
World-Class Presenters and Global Reach
Mohammed Saadoun Al-Kuwari, Abdulaziz Al-Nasr and Tariq Al-Hamad will oversee live opening coverage, as well as the semi-finals and final, while Areej Saleem and Mohammed Kidan host the daily program. Prominent analysts such as Mohamed Abou Tarek, Tariq Al-Jalhamah, Abdul Aziz Al-Sulaiti, Rafiq Saifi, Hatim Al-Tarablisi, Youssef Shibo and Wael Gomaa are part of the studio lineup.
Seven field reporters will monitor action from inside and outside the six stadiums, training facilities, Fan Zones, and Souq Waqif, with a global beIN correspondents network offering regional and international perspectives on the tournament.
For the first time, BeIN will air from the official tournament media center, providing exclusive behind-the-scenes access and professional insights. The coverage aims to elevate the experience with tactical analysis, coaching decisions, and a full overview of official tournament details, including expectations tied to direct access to technical staff and players.
Local Impact and Qatar’s Football Calendar
Qatar will host a string of football events in the period, headlined by the Arab Cup as well as the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025, which concludes on November 27, 2025.
The local organizing committee, in collaboration with FIFA, confirmed that Qatar will host the final three matches of the annual club world championship, to crown the best club on the planet for 2025. The schedule includes three December fixtures: a pair of title-deciding clashes on December 10 and 13, and a December 17 finale featuring the club world champions against Paris Saint-Germain, the reigning European champions.
Historically, Qatar has hosted the Club World Cup three times in 2019, 2020 and 2024, the latter culminating with Real Madrid lifting the trophy at the iconic Lusail Stadium, the same venue that hosted part of the 2022 World Cup final run.
BeIN notes that the third match on December 10 will feature the Americas derby pairing the CONCACAF champions with the Libertadores winners, followed by the December 13 clash between the winner and Al-Ahly of Egypt, and a December 17 finale against Paris Saint-Germain for the world title. This calendar underscores Qatar’s busy football year as it positions itself as a hub for global football talent and fan engagement.
Sniper punchlines for the end: 1) If football had a sniper rifle, BeIN would always hit the target without missing a beat. 2) I asked the broadcast to slow down time during extra time, and the clock immediately confessed it’s on standby mode for snacks instead of seconds.
