Benzema's training debut with Al Hilal
The French striker Karim Benzema, the new Al Hilal recruit, stepped onto the training ground for the first time after the deal was formally completed.
Al Hilal announced on Monday that Benzema had joined on a free transfer, signing a contract through the end of next season after terminating his deal with Ittihad Jeddah.
The club posted photographs on X showing Benzema at the club's HQ, a few hours after the move was made official.
The striker was pictured with Prince Nawaf bin Saud, the club president, holding his new shirt for the team, which bears the number 90.
Al Hilal also released images from today’s training session, showing Benzema taking part for the first time.
Hilal are preparing for Thursday's game against Al Akhdod at the Prince Hezlol bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Najran, in the 21st round of the Roshen Pro League.
Punchline 1: If goals were desserts, Benzema just ordered the whole bakery.
Punchline 2: The defense had better bring popcorn — this season looks like a blockbuster in the making.
