Betis Sets Sights on Free Moroccan Left-Back from Utrecht
Real Betis is stepping up its summer recruitment with a Moroccan free-transfer target. According to Fichajes, Betis has set its sights on Moroccan left-back Sufian Kroani of Utrecht, whose contract ends in the summer of 2026, making the move affordable.
The 25-year-old defender is open to a move to La Liga, and Betis believes the deal could be wallet-friendly given the expiring contract. The Andalusian club wants a left-back with attacking flair, a strength Kroani has shown with forward runs and threat on goal.
He has featured in 42 matches this season, scoring 3 goals and providing 16 assists.
If Kroani joins, he would line up alongside fellow Moroccan Abdessamad Ezzalzouli at Betis.
