Update on Saad Al-Mousa’s Return Timeline

Al-Ittihad has set Saad Al-Mousa's return date to play again after his injury, keeping fans hopeful for a comeback.

Saad Al-Mousa has been out with the club since November because of his injury, missing Al-Ahli and Al-Riyadh in the league, Al-Duhail in the AFC Champions League, and Al-Shabab in King Cup.

Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiyah reported that Al-Ittihad has a plan combining physical therapy and rehabilitation workouts for the international defender, extending until March next year.

The report said he will undergo monitoring to gauge his response at every stage, with the option to adjust the schedule and shorten the timeframe if his improvement continues.

Note that international defender underwent surgery in England recently, under the supervision of specialist Dr. Peter Adoghe, who has followed the player's condition since the injury.

And for a little humor to ease the suspense: Saad’s comeback will be so gradual that even his pace might need a coffee break. If he scores early, the doctor will bill him for extra minutes of patience.
