Double Local Showdown: Al Hilal’s Busy November Schedule Unveiled
1 November 2025
Asian Run
Al Hilal arrives in November with a five-match slate across domestic and continental duties. They sit atop the West group of the AFC Champions League Elite with nine points from three straight wins (Duhail, Al Sadd, Nasaf) and remain undefeated after three games. The team also sits two points ahead of Al Ahli Saudi, Shabab Al Ahli Dubai, and Al Wasl in the standings, a cushion that invites confident marching orders.
The side has also progressed to the King’s Cup quarterfinals after a hard-fought 1-0 win over Al Akhdood in the Round of 16, underscoring a continued run of good form on multiple fronts.
November Showdowns
The first test comes Monday, November 3, when Hilal travels to Qatar to face Al-Gharafa at Thani Bin Jassim Stadium for the fourth ACL Elite matchday. Al-Gharafa are currently eighth with three points—one win and two losses—so Hilal will be eyeing continuity in their winning habit.
Next up, Friday, November 7, Hilal host Al-Najma in the Saudi Pro League at King Abdullah Sports City in Buraydah. This marks their first league meeting this season, and Najma have struggled—seven games without a point so far—hunting a lift against the league’s better sides.
Double-Header and Cup Run
Later in the month, Hilal faces a double-header against Al-Fateh: in the league on November 22 at the Kingdom Arena, followed by a King’s Cup quarterfinal against Al-Fateh on November 28. The two sides share a long history; in 28 league meetings Hilal have 21 wins to Al-Fateh’s four, with three draws. Al-Fateh currently sit fifteenth with five points but have shown signs of improvement, taking four points from their last two games and even beating a few bigger names in the campaign so far.
Between these clashes, Hilal will host the Iraqi Police on November 25 at the Kingdom Arena in the AFC Elite group stage. Police have had a challenging campaign to date, with one point from four matches, and will look to upset the Saudi powerhouse as Hilal seeks to seal a place in the knockout rounds.
In addition to the Asian and domestic duties, Hilal will look to protect their campaign momentum—remember, their earlier giant 9-0 victory over Al-Fateh remains a landmark reminder of their potential when everything clicks.
