Transfer Update

The Colombian star keeps moving beyond Al-Nassr's walls.

Saudi club Al-Nassr has decided to part ways with Colombian striker John Duran once again after a stalled loan at Fenerbahce.

Fenerbahce announced signing Duran last summer, arriving from Al-Nassr on a season-long loan, before the Turkish club moved to terminate the arrangement.

What happened next

Al-Nassr then reached a deal with Zenit Saint Petersburg to loan Duran until the end of the current season.

Zenit announced the transaction on X, confirming Duran will lead the attack in the months ahead, wearing the number 9 shirt.

Duran had been signed by Al-Nassr in January/February 2025, but the spell faltered as Ronaldo remained the main striker and disciplinary issues cropped up.

Punchline 1: If loans were mortgages, Duran would own three houses by now.

Punchline 2: At this rate, his transfer history should come with a season pass.
