Egypt Announces 26-Man Squad for UAE Camp

The Egypt national football team, under coach Hossam Hassan, announced the 26-man squad for the November training camp in the United Arab Emirates, scheduled from the 10th to the 18th, ahead of two friendlies on FIFA’s international calendar, as part of preparations for AFCON 2025 and 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The camp aims to ready the squad for AFCON 2025 after official qualification to the 2026 World Cup, while testing both domestic and abroad-based players.

Return of El-Shennawy and Salah Mohsen.

The 26-man squad includes Ahmed El-Shenawy, the Cairo-born goalkeeper of Pyramids, back after a lengthy absence sparked by his superb form as his side lifted CAF Champions League; Salah Mohsen of Al-Masry also returns.

Hossam Hassan also called up Ahmed Fattouh, the left-back for Zamalek, after his standout display against Pyramids in the Egyptian Super Cup.
