Egyptian Power Move: Al-Masry Lands Mustafa Al-Ash and Eyes Ahmed Abdelkader

Al-Masry lands Mustafa Al-Ash on loan
The Egyptian club Al-Masry announced on Friday the official signing of Mustafa Al-Ash, the defender from Al-Ahly.
Al-Ash has joined on a loan for 18 months, with an option to buy at the end of the loan spell.
He becomes the third new arrival for Al-Masry this window, following Palestinian Emad Safwatta and Moroccan midfielder Osama Zamrawi.
Al-Masry targets Ahmed Abdelkader
Meanwhile, Al-Masry made a formal bid to sign Ahmed Abdelkader, the winger, whose contract with Al-Ahly runs out at the end of the season.
According to Koora, Al-Ahly approved his departure, but the deal has not closed yet due to contract details.
Al-Masry reportedly offered a salary of 100 million Egyptian pounds under a contract through summer 2028, while Abdelkader asked to keep the same pay but with a contract ending next year.
Punchline: In football transfers, precision matters; this window's target practice is mostly paperwork, with a dash of ambition.
Punchline 2: If deals were rifles, Al-Masry would need a bigger locker—less drama, more receipts, and maybe a trophy to go with it.
