The Brazilian side Flamengo has decided to enlist Ayiman Mohamed, the former Al Ahly performance analyst, ahead of their meeting with Pyramids FC, as they prepare for the clash.
A source told Kooora in an exclusive interview that Flamengo reached out to Mohamed about two days ago after his departure from the Al Ahly role.
Flamengo reportedly values Mohamed's insight, and he was asked about Piramids FC and their style of play, with detailed tactical notes expected to be included.
Mohamed is said to have compiled a report on Piramids FC for Flamengo for Flamengo's staff to study ahead of kickoff.
The Semifinal will take place on Saturday evening at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan, Qatar.
Flamengo defeated Cruz Azul in the quarterfinals to win the Americas Derby Cup 2-1, advancing to face Pyramids FC in the semis.
The winner will take the title of the Club World Cup and will secure a final against Paris Saint-Germain, Europe’s last champions, on December 17 in Doha.
Punchline 1: If tactics were darts, Flamengo just bought the whole board.
Punchline 2: And if Mohamed's report is right, the sun in Doha might need sunglasses for the players too.
