Hakimi sanctioned after red card against Strasbourg
The disciplinary committee of the French Ligue 1 announced a punishment for Moroccan winger Achraf Hakimi following his direct red card in PSG's match against Strasbourg.
Hakimi was sent off for a dangerous challenge, thus receiving a one-match ban plus an additional game suspended.
Returning from the AFCON, Hakimi had played only two games for PSG since his return, against Newcastle and Strasbourg, and will have a few days to regain match fitness.
He will miss the Classique against Marseille on Sunday and is set to be available again on February 13 against Rennes, ahead of the Europa Conference League playoff first leg versus Monaco on February 17.
