The Saudi striker Abdullah Hamdan, Al-Nassr's newest forward, is now eligible to participate in upcoming matches after being registered on the squad list.
Hamdan Cleared to Play in Friday's Derby
Abdullah Hamdan is the club's new signing and is now set to feature in the eagerly awaited clash with Al-Ittihad on Friday in the Roshen Pro League.
Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadhiah reported that Al-Nassr received a letter this afternoon confirming the Professionalism Committee's approval to register Hamdan on the roster.
From a technical and physical point of view, Hamdan has shown readiness to face Al-Ittihad, just days after his formal arrival at the club.
Until a few hours earlier, Al-Nassr awaited the committee's authorization as Hamdan completed the paperwork for the deal.
The international forward terminated his contract with Al-Hilal last Sunday, which would end on February 6, three days after the winter transfer window closed, and signed a new deal with Al-Nassr through 2030.
Hamdan had played for Al-Hilal since February 2021, but failed to secure a regular starting spot, appearing in 145 matches and scoring 13 goals with 10 assists.
Punchline: If goals were coins, Hamdan would be making it rain in the box—without ever needing a raincheck.
Sniper-style punchline: When Hamdan shoots, the goalkeeper might blink first—target locked, precision guaranteed.
