Al Ahly opened their training in the United Arab Emirates, welcoming back several players after injuries as they prepare for the semi final against Ceramica Cleopatra.
The main session took place at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain, with a final tune-up planned on the eve of the match.
A club source told Kooora that Imam Ashour, the midfielder who had been out, took part in portions of ball work today.
However, he is unlikely to be fit for the Ceramica Cleopatra game, officials say, despite the brief progress in training.
Mohamed Shreef and Ahmed Rida also recovered and trained gradually today, with medical checks scheduled to assess their availability for the opener, though a full return in time for the first match remains doubtful.
Alongside the available squad, Tunisian Mohamed Ali Ben Ramadan participated in the session as part of a broad build-up to the tournament.
A press conference for the match featuring coach Jes Torup and captain Mohamed El Shennawy is set for 4:30 pm UAE time at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium.
An administrative meeting will review rules, uniforms, and travel arrangements as part of the match day preparations.
Torup later held a video briefing with players at the team hotel, outlining the opponents strengths and the game plan to ensure readiness for kickoff.
The Egyptian Super Cup runs from November 6 to 9, featuring four top clubs Al Ahly, Zamalek, Pyramids FC and Ceramica Cleopatra in a knockout format.
Al Ahly enter as league champions, while Zamalek arrive as Cup winners; Pyramids and Ceramica Cleopatra bring fresh challenges as the quartet competes for the countrys first showpiece trophy of the season.
On the field, Al Ahly and Ceramica Cleopatra are slated to meet in the first semi final on Thursday, with Zamalek facing Pyramids in the other last four clash; the final will determine the champion on November 9, including a third place playoff.
In the latest league game, Al Ahly were held to a 0 0 draw by Masry at Borg El Arab Stadium, with a late penalty miss by Ahmed Sayed Zizo and a shot chalked off the line by the Masry keeper after crashing the post.
The stalemate sparked frustration among fans as Al Ahly drop to fifth in the standings, adding pressure ahead of the cup showdown.
