Inter Milan Opens Talks on Musa Diaby Loan
Inter Milan have begun negotiations with Al-Ittihad to bring French winger Musa Diaby to Milan on a loan spell until the end of the season, with an option to buy.
Diaby's Saudi Chapter and the Potential Move to Europe
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Inter's proposal would see Diaby move to Milan on a loan until June, with an option to purchase for €35 million.
Romano added that Diaby has already given his consent to the move, while the final word rests with the Saudi club.
Diaby joined Al-Ittihad in 2024 and has been a pivotal figure, contributing 8 goals and 27 assists across competitions last season.
The news also references ongoing European and Saudi league fixtures, including Borussia Dortmund against Inter in the Champions League and Al Fateh versus Al Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League, underscoring Diaby's past and potential future impact.
Since arriving in Jeddah, the 26-year-old winger helped Al-Ittihad win league titles and the domestic cup, strengthening his case for a European move.
If the transfer goes ahead, Inter would add depth to their attacking options while Al-Ittihad weighs the strategic value of cashing in on a high-profile asset.
And remember: if patience were a transfer fee, we’d all be millionaires by now.
