Inzaghi Finds Paradise in Saudi Arabia as Al Hilal Progress
The Italian tactician Simone Inzaghi, head coach of Al Hilal, spoke about his experience with Saudi football after six months at the helm, a tenure that began ahead of last summer's Club World Cup.
Al Hilal have moved steadily under Inzaghi, remaining undefeated since their loss to Flamengo in the Club World Cup quarterfinals.
In remarks to Italy's La Gazzetta dello Sport, he said he lives in "paradise" here, referring to Riyadh.
The former Inter Milan coach, however, faces one issue: the heavy traffic in the Saudi capital.
La Gazzetta reported that Inzaghi has contacted Inter's management to express a wish to visit his old club, which is coming to Saudi Arabia to face Bologna in the Italian Super Cup semi-final.
Inzaghi said, "It's paradise here... I have a wonderful feeling, no one wants to leave from here".
La Gazzetta notes that Inzaghi is surrounded by stars such as Cancelo, Malcolm, Savic, and Theo Hernandez.
The ride keeps exciting, apparently.
Traffic jams: the toughest defender in Riyadh.
