Ismaily bowed out of the Egypt Cup early after a 3-1 defeat to Haras El Hodood on Monday evening at the Haras stadium in Alexandria, in the Round of 32.
The side that lifted the trophy in 1997 and 2000 saw their cup journey end early after a bitter defeat away at Haras El Hodood.
Haras opened the scoring through Fawzi Al-Hanaoui in the 26th minute, but Ismaily captain Mohammed Ammar equalized in stoppage time at 45+3.
The match went to extra time where Amr Gamal gave Haras the lead in the 94th minute, followed by Mahmoud Oka's third at 120.
Haras El Hodood, coached by Ahmed Zahran, advanced to the Round of 16 and will face Smouha after beating Ghazl El Mahalla 3-1.
Elsewhere, Enppi beat El Mokawloon 1-0, while Petrojet won 1-0 against Wadi Degla to set up a Round of 16 clash.
Farco advanced with a 2-0 victory over Telephones Beni Suef, and Ismailia Electricity powered past Al Ittihad Alexandria 1-0.
