Jesus slams Al Nassr management before Taawoun

Ahead of the Taawoun showdown
The Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, head coach of Al Nassr, directed sharp criticism at the club's recruitment policy, arguing that signing decisions are misaligned with the team's needs.
Najd's warriors are preparing to face Al Taawoun on Monday, as round 18 of the Roshen Saudi Pro League promises another tense afternoon in the league.
In the conference, Jesus reminded everyone that what he wants in terms of players often does not align with reality, noting that he has been in Saudi Arabia for years and that deals must go through the club president or administration.
At Al Nassr, things work differently, as he says a discussion with Simão and Semedo often precedes any signing, and even then the club sometimes cannot meet the asking price.
He even urged the fans to back the team boldly against Al Taawoun, noting the supporters' strong presence in the last two matches.
Jesus also praised Haider Abdul Karim, the club's newest signing, saying the youngster has a bright future with the club.
Asked about Abdullah Al-Hamdan, he replied that he's a wonderful player but not currently linked with Al Nassr.
Two punchlines for good measure: If transfers were coffee, this club would need a barista who can spell players' names. And if patience were a transfer fee, the fans would have bought a full squad by now.
