Spanish journalist Francois Giardo dropped a heavyweight surprise about Real Madrid's alleged signing of German coach Jürgen Klopp since last December.
Defensa Central network cited Giardo's remarks, saying Klopp will lead Real Madrid in the 2026-27 season.
A few days earlier, coach Álvaro Arbeloa stated in a press conference that his continuation with the club is not his current concern.
Arbeloa added, “My stay in this post is not important. I coach as if I have spent 15 years and will stay 15 more, and I will keep going this way”.
Giardo tweeted, “Klopp will arrive at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium within a few months”.
He also said, “Exclusive worldwide... nothing can be done, the matter has been settled since December”.
He added, “Klopp will be Real Madrid coach from this summer. It doesn't matter whether Arbeloa wins titles or not… everything is signed and done”.
If true, the German coach, who currently serves as Global Football Director at Red Bull, seems to have been camouflaging himself, denying every time asked about Real Madrid.
