'It's a tough situation, we're talking about one of the greatest players to have ever worn the club. I signed with Liverpool in the same window as Salah. Whatever happened, it's in the past. Internally, we are totally united.'

On Salah's future, he added: 'That matter is up to other people, not me. I love playing alongside Mohamed Salah and hope to keep playing with him.'

Robertson also stressed the need to progress in the continental competition and avoid playoff clashes, noting the team fully understands the value of finishing inside the top eight.
