Mbappé’s Mother Makes Bank: The Real Madrid Saga You Didn’t See Coming

Mbappé's Mother's Earnings Spark Debate
Faïza Al Mari, richly rewarded for being part of Mbappé's team, the Real Madrid star, signed a contract guaranteeing a net annual salary of 4.5 million euros.
A Bola published a report tracking Mbappé's mother's earnings, confirming she earns more than eight players on the Blancos squad.
She earns more than the net salaries of Arda Güler, Ibrahim Diaz, Raúl Sainsu, Fran Mastantuono, Gonzalo Garcia, Lonin, Endrick (on loan to Lyon currently), and Fran Garcia, where the Real Madrid forward agreed to give her 30% of his earnings.
Faïza is not only Mbappé's mother but also his personal, professional and financial manager; her services come at a high cost; Spanish press had previously revealed that the Real Madrid forward had to negotiate a lot to reach an agreement with his mother.
Faïza did not hesitate and demanded that her fees be paid from Mbappé's Madrid earnings.
In an interview, she recounted a heated exchange with her son about money... she wanted 50% of his salary; he replied: "Impossible! I won't pay half! What's wrong with you? I'm the one scoring the goals, how do you expect 50%?"
But Faïza insisted, reminding him she is part of his team and works for him: "I add value to you, but we will share it equally."
She added: "I lowered the share to 30%, and told him I would resign and leave him without support if the share fell below that, but I did not... I will vacation in the Maldives and won't work for him after that. So he agreed to 30%. In the medium term, he will have to give me 30%."
Considering Mbappé earns 15 million euros net (excluding transfer bonuses), Faïza Al Mari would receive about 4.5 million euros net annually.
Nevertheless, a large portion goes to Kylian Mbappé's charitable foundation, which helps needy children.
Punchline 1: If football contracts came with a punchline, Faïza would be the joke—only this one pays out in euros instead of laughs.
Punchline 2: When the family business is football, the only thing bigger than the salary is the drama—cue the goal celebration and the boardroom chatter.
