Arab Cup Final 2025: Morocco Clinches the Title
Mohamed Rabeeh Harimat, captain of Morocco, was named the best player of the 2025 Arab Cup held in Qatar.
The Moroccan national team won the Arab title after beating Jordan 3-2 this evening at Lusail Stadium in the final.
The Atlas Lions clinched the title for the second time in history, after the 2012 edition, as Morocco finished the tournament under coach Tarik Saktioui.
Mohamed Rabeeh Harimat won the award for best player after his great form throughout the tournament and his tangible role in the Atlas Lions' midfield.
Jordan's Ali Alwan, a star of the Jordan squad, won the tournament's top scorer award with six goals, while Morocco's goalkeeper Mehdi Benabid claimed the best goalkeeper prize.
Morocco opened final's scoring through Osama Tanan after four minutes; Ali Alwan equalized for Jordan in the 48th, before Alwan netted a second in the 68th minute from a penalty.
Abderrazak Hamdallah scored for Morocco in the 87th and 100th minutes.
