Morocco U17s Sweep North Africa Cup with a Perfect Run
The Morocco under-17s sealed the North Africa Cup with a flawless run that also earned them a place at the Africa Cup of Nations finals.
They claimed the title with a 3-1 victory over Libya, at the Benina stadium in Benghazi, finishing the final round with all four wins.
They went ahead at halftime 2-1, with Adam Bougazar opening the scoring in the second minute and Mohamed Jroud replying for Libya in the tenth.
Bougazar doubled his tally just before halftime for a 2-1 halftime lead.
Adnan Bougoufi added a third in the 55th minute to seal the win.
Morocco finished the campaign with four wins, beating Tunisia 2-0, Algeria 3-0, Egypt 2-1, and Libya in the final match.
